MEd (ABA) BPsychSci (PGDip)
Amanda has an MA of Education in ABA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and is accruing the last hours needed to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA). Amanda began her career in ABA in 2017 working as an independent in-home therapist. She has extensive experience in implementing early intensive behavioural interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and those with other learning difficulties across all ages.
Amanda has provided 1:1 therapy to children and adults in the home, in childcare centres as well as providing shadow support in childcare, kindergarten and school settings and she has acted in the role of senior behaviour therapist collaborating on individualised program design, conducting assessments and training therapists on client specific programs.
Amanda is passionate about working with children and their families to create positive behaviour change through individualised ABA programs. Her special interest includes working with early learners to establish foundational learning skills and reducing behaviours of concern through building functional communication skills.
